| Cage Wars is a Mixed Martial Arts promotion that began in 1999 to promote and teach the sport of MMA. During that time the CWC team brought the first ever cage event to the UK in 2001 which has lead to the explosion of MMA promotions in the UK. MMA is now the fastest growing sport on the planet today.
The first event took place in the Guild Hall in Portsmouth and was followed by the first ever London event which was a sell out. Galway, Scotland and Belfast followed over the years and last year two events were held at the Kings Hall which once again were a phenomenal success.

THE FORMAT
Each auditionee takes to the stage hoping that their act will be the one to delight. After two minutes we take the vote to the public with our clap’o’meter.
There will be tears there may be tantrums, but one thing's for certain... one talented act, who proves that they are the UK’s Karate Kid 2010, will be crowned the ultimate winner by our TV Celebrities “Gok Wan and ???”
Join in the fun at the audition stage, as we surf the talent spectrum all the way from the sublime to the seriously awful!

| THE DRAGAN CHALLENGE |

Dragan Radovic is quite possibly the world’s fittest 60year old. Described by 3-time World’s Strongest Man, Bill Kazmaier, as ‘one of the most impressive strength athletes I have ever encountered’, Dragan has spent the last decade training professional athletes, setting world records & in his spare time, travelling the world to seek out the fittest, strongest and toughest athletes and challenging them to a simple but brutal test of strength and endurance known as the Dragan Challenge.
In 10years he has never been beaten, despite being taken on by thousands of challengers from every corner of the globe and every sports background.
Rajko Radovic, weighing in at over 90kgs, with a resting heart rate of just 35bpm, and a world record in endurance dumbbell lifting, is an impressive athlete. Having studied at the UK’s leading Institute of Sport (Loughborough University) where he competed at the highest level of Inter-Collegiate sport, Rajko then took the mantle of pioneering the brutally effective Hour of Power Workout, travelling with his father (and fitness legend) Dragan Radovic to some of the world’s biggest fitness expos. | BRITISH ARNIS ALLIANCE CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010 |

Although Rapid Arnis has over the years had great success in the WEKAF Format of Stick Fighting tournaments, a format we still support and enjoy! They have been involved with great success in competing and organising a now established sporting version of full contact stick fighting which is a more exciting version to watch and compete in!
This version was originated in Manila, Philippines in 2005 and was quickly adopted by the Rapid Arnis Organisation and in two World Championships it received no less than 5 world titles and a host of silver and bronze medals with only 9 fighters in total.
This format was brought to the UK by Rapid Arnis International and already has gain great interest from other FMA styles and systems who have also had great success in this format and the competitor list has been growing steady ever since.
Since 2005 the rules have been fine tuned to come up with what we beleive is a version of the sport that not only suits long rang and close range fighters, but also sword based and stick based systems equally.
Even from a spectator point of veiw we beleive this is one of the most entertaining and exciting events to watch. MORE INFO > |
| CHI SAU OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS 2010 |

| Chi Sao competitions are not new to Wing Chun, but in the past they have even been either no contact, which doesn’t really test your core skills to control an opponent, or full contact with lots of protective head and body gear which then means you don’t know if your strike would have worked or if you can take a strike.
A balance has to be between striking hard and testing control of ‘core skills’ under pressure.
With this in mind we have put together a Chi Sao event based on Full contact Amateur MMA with a ‘Chi Sao rolling’ platform instead of a ‘Grappling rolling platform’ to test... MORE INFO >

WEKAF will be running an open tournament at the NEC BIRMINGHAM on Saturday 22nd May at The Martial Arts Show
This WEKAF event is to show why we are the leaders in this type of stick fighting. One of the fastest and exciting stick fighting sports to come from The Philippines

an Amateur MMA Tourament in the main Hall for all to come and see. The fighters will have the chance to come to 'The Martial Show' and showcase their skills. Winners from this event will be invited to fight a 10th Legion Show!
On Sunday 'The Martial Event' will have fighter signings, so the fans will get to meet these top fighters.
Confirmed fighters so far our 10th Legion Welterweight World Champion and 5 times UFC veteran Jess 'The Joker' Liaudin , 10th Legion Welterweight European Champion Peter Irving, Wayne Murray, Jochaim Christensen, Eddy Millis, Christoffer Hansen, David Rosmon with more fighters and great match ups to come!

The Martial Arts Games area will provide EVERYONE with the ability to compete in a series of challenges that have been devised to test the individual without the possibility of being hurt.
THE COURSE
In this unique arena, you will be set a series of short challenges that run from the sublime to the strange. At the end of the set of tests, you will be given a score that will be compared with other peoples scores on the day in order to produce a winner.
IT'S A SECRET!
You will have the most fun ever and you will want to do it again and again, but that's all we can let you know for now!! ;)
